Technical Resource Secondment

Add the technical capability your team needs

Project schedules and operating priorities can create skills requirements that your permanent team cannot immediately absorb. Elabif SA provides technical resource secondment for defined assignments, project phases and periods of increased delivery demand.

We work from the role requirement so that experience, responsibilities and site conditions are understood before candidates are presented.

Resource requirements we can support

  • Project managers and programme support personnel.
  • Construction managers and site supervisors.
  • Planners, schedulers and project controls personnel.
  • Cost engineers, quantity surveyors and commercial personnel.
  • Contract administrators and procurement specialists.
  • Discipline engineers, technical specialists and technicians.
  • Geologists and exploration support personnel.
  • Quality, safety and commissioning personnel.
  • Document controllers and project coordination staff.

Define the role before selecting the person

We clarify the scope of work, seniority, technical experience and reporting line. Where the assignment requires professional registration, particular training or commodity experience, these requirements form part of the selection brief.

We also agree the location, working pattern, expected duration and conditions that affect mobilisation.

Selection and mobilisation

Candidates are assessed against the agreed brief, with qualifications, references and role specific requirements reviewed as part of the selection process. The client retains the opportunity to interview and approve the proposed resource.

Before deployment, we coordinate the agreed onboarding requirements and confirm the arrangements for supervision, timesheets and performance review. Country and site specific deployment conditions are addressed within the assignment plan.

Support throughout the assignment

A secondment should remain aligned with the work it was intended to support. We maintain contact with the client and the resource to review performance, address changes and plan extensions or demobilisation.

Employment responsibilities, commercial terms and the process for any replacement are defined in the appointment.

Typical outputs

A role brief, candidate submissions, mobilisation plan, onboarding record, agreed reporting arrangements and periodic assignment reviews provide a clear basis for managing the resource.
