About Elabif SA
A South African business focused on mining delivery
Elabif SA has been established to expand Elabif's presence in South Africa and grow its footprint across the Southern African Development Community. The business broadens Elabif's offering through project advisory, project and programme management, construction management, contract and commercial management, technical resource secondment and mining supplies.
Foundation
Building on Elabif's regional foundation
Geology remains part of our technical foundation. Bringing geological input together with delivery and commercial disciplines helps clients connect what is known about an asset with the work needed to develop and support it.
Elabif's existing business supports mining and related activities in the Democratic Republic of Congo and the Great Lakes region. Its published offering includes exploration, drilling, geotechnical support, workforce services and supply chain support.
Elabif SA builds on that foundation through a South African leadership team and a service offering shaped around the needs of owners, developers and operating mines. We define the resources and delivery arrangements for each assignment so that clients understand who is responsible for the work.
Our purpose
To help mining clients make informed decisions, organise effective project delivery and secure the people and supplies their work requires.
Our vision
To become a trusted mining services partner across Southern Africa, recognised for sound technical judgement, responsible conduct and accountable delivery.
How we work
Principles that guide every assignment
Safety in planning and execution
We consider site risks and execution constraints when planning work and coordinating delivery.
Clear commercial conduct
We define scope, responsibilities and commitments openly, and raise changes that could affect the assignment.
Technical judgement
We base recommendations on the information available and make material assumptions visible.
Accountability
We agree deliverables and reporting arrangements, then track progress against them.
Local participation
We look for practical opportunities to develop skills and involve suitable local suppliers within the needs of each assignment.
Leadership
Leadership close to the work
Our leadership brings experience across mining operations, engineering consulting, construction, commissioning and mineral exploration. This includes work in South Africa and other African mining markets. The team connects executive direction with project delivery and geological oversight, giving clients a clear route for technical engagement and escalation.
